Before you use the dragonflyacademy.co.uk website (the “Site”), please read the following basic terms that govern your use of the Site. By using the Site, you agree to follow and be bound by these terms (the “Agreement”).
Where a course balance payment is required this will be taken from the same payment card that has been used to secure the course. This will be processed on the last working day (working days are Monday - Friday) before the course attendance date.
In the event of a failed transaction, the balance will need to be manually paid. Failure to adhere to the T&Cs will result in your place being cancelled and deposit forfeit.
Once the balance payment has been taken, no refunds or transfers will be given.
Corona Virus - Specific information
As at 13/03/2020 - Government guidelines : Re: Self isolation - if you have symptoms of Coronavirus infection (COVID-19), however mild, stay at home and do not leave your house for 7 days from when your symptoms started.
In the event of the above please inform us in writing ( **contact details below) that you are in self isolation and we will cancel your place on the course. Due to the current uncertainty rescheduling will be advised once we have more information from The Government. No refunds will be given.

Whilst we all have free movement across the UK, with the exception of the above, all bookings will still be subject to our normal Ts&Cs see below.
Course Cancellation Policy
In the event of cancellation the deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable in the case of personal illness where a doctors letter is forwarded the course will be reschduled any monies paid will not be not refunded.
In the rare case where a reschedule is neccesary by ourselves we will offer an alternative date. If this date is not acceptable to the student we will refund any monies paid and the contract will be cancelled. Once an alternative date has been accepted it will be subject to all Terms and Conditions in The Agreement.
Multiple day Courses. In the case of a course delivered over more than one session the full amount for the course is due whether or not you complete or attend all the sessions. If you fail to attend one of the scheduled days which results in our tutor being cancelled a No Show fee will be payable. Your deposit or full payment is acceptance of these conditions. No refunds on partially completed courses will be made.
Kits are not included in our courses unless specifically stated. On occasions where the kit inclusive course is discounted the kit may not be included. Please check with us if you are under any doubt.
Most courses require students to work on each other in order to experience the treatment. This also negates the need for a model. If you feel you are unable to participate in this way or have concerns please contact us at least 10 days before your course..
In order for you to receive your certificate you will be required to complete the full course successfully. Your attendence will be required from the start to the finish of the course.
Where a course requires an assessment this must be attended and passed before the allotted time. If for any reason this deadline is missed a fee of £50 will be payable to sit the assessment within 6 months of the course date. After this time full payment for a refresher day will be payable. No certificates will be issued until assessment is passed.
You must let us know if you suffer from any condition or take any prescrition drugs that may impact on your participation in the course. We want to make your learning experience as enjoyable and succesful as we can. If we have have full knowledge of any difficulties you may experience we can work with you to overcome them during your time with us. No information will be shared with other students.
Before booking please make sure you check with your insurance company and the relevent authorities i.e. Local council that your premises/mobile use is suitable.
Some treatments i.e Microblading and Dermaplaning require a skin licence from your local council, before booking you must make sure you will satisfy all conditions to obtain this. You will need to provide Dragonfly Academy a copy of this license before we can issue you with your course certificate.
Replacement of Manuals and Certificates
Should a student wish to order a replacement certificate or manual there will be an administrative charge of £25 per item.
Credit card and personal information security
Our secure server software encrypts all of your personal information during purchases, including credit card number, name, and address, so that it cannot be read as the information travels over the Internet. In the event of unauthorized use of your credit card, most banks either cover all the charges that result from the unauthorized use (please check with your bank for more details).
How we use your personal information
You have our promise that any personal information you provide will never be used by anyone not employed by Dragonfly Academy Limited. It is not the policy of Dragonfly Academy Limited to loan, sell, or share customer information to anyone. Any financial information that is collected is used only to bill customers for orders.
We collect contact information (such as your e-mail address) when you sign up for an account, place an order or when you volunteer it for other services. If you have placed an order at dragonflyacademy.co.uk, we may, from time to time, use the e-mail address you provided to send you information about news and offerings from the Dragonfly Academy Limited. If you do not wish to receive such updates, you can contact us and we will remove your e-mail address.
